Global History 4 (spring, tenth grade): Unit 4 - Decolonization and Nationalization; Unit 5 - Tension Between Traditional Cultures and Modernization; Unit 6 - Globalization and the Changing Environment

AP World History (tenth grade, offered in place of Global 3-4 by application): The AP World History course is structured around the investigation of five course themes and 19 key concepts in six different chronological periods, from approximately 8000 B.C.E. to the present. This course covers the following themes: Interaction Between Humans and the Environment;  Development and Interaction of Cultures;  State Building, Expansion, and Conflict;  Creation, Expansion, and Interaction of Economic Systems;  Development and Transformation of Social Structures. Course Details

Economics (spring, twelfth grade): Unit 1 - Personal Finance: Individual Responsibility and the Economy; Unit 2 - Individuals and Businesses in the Market; Unit 3 - American Capitalism and the Global Economy

AP United States Government and Politics (twelfth grade, offered in place of Government by application): The AP U.S. Government and Politics course involves the study of democratic ideas, balance of powers, and tension between the practical and ideal in national policy-making. Students analyze and discuss the importance of various constitutional principles, rights and procedures, institutions, and political processes that impact us as citizens. Course Details
