  • Queens Job Recruitment Fair Returns

    Dear QTHS Community!

      Please join Queens Borough President Donovan Richards for the third in a series of monthly , in-person job fairs, Thursday May 26, 2-4 p.m, Hellen Marshall Cultural Center @ Queens Borough Hall . 

      Positions are available in all the fields of administration, customer service, transportation, finance, hospitality, retail, security and more. Meet with industry leaders, get your questions answered and connect with organizations looking to hire Queens residents today.

    All attendees must wear mask while at Queens Borough Hall, in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines.

  • Tech360 Summer Bootcamp

    America On Tech (AOT) is so excited to announce that the application for its Summer 2022 TECH360 program is now LIVE! The TECH360 Summer Bootcamp is an intensive, 3-week program where students learn how to code through web design and web development. Throughout the program students will learn industry-aligned technical and professional skills, gaining knowledge of key coding languages and frameworks including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap.

    During the final week of the program, students will put their knowledge to the test and work in teams to create and present a final website during the end-of-program Demo Day Competition. Most sessions will be hosted via Zoom, but some in-person sessions will be required.

    America On Tech (AOT) se complace en anunciar que la aplicación para su programa TECH360 de verano de 2022 ya está EN VIVO ! El Bootcamp de verano de TECH360 es un programa intensivo de 3 semanas en el que los estudiantes aprenden a codificar a través del diseño y el desarrollo web. A lo largo del programa, los estudiantes aprenderán habilidades técnicas y profesionales alineadas con la industria, adquiriendo conocimientos de lenguajes y marcos de codificación clave, incluidos HTML, CSS, JavaScript y Bootstrap.

  • Conflict Resolution Parent Workshops

    NYCID offers parent workshops that are designed to bring conflict resolution skills out of the classroom and into the community. These workshops invite parents to explore their relationship to conflict, and learn new skills that will enrich and deepen relationships within their family. These are interactive workshops that give participants the opportunity to practice the skills they have learned. 

    NYCID’s parent workshops will be offered virtually on the Zoom platform from 6pm-7:30pm ONLY IN ENGLISH (Spanish workshop will be offering for late May or early June). Each cohort will take place over the course of two days, either Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday. A certificate of participation will be given to each participant who completes both sessions.

    NYCID ofrece talleres para padres que están diseñados para llevar las habilidades de resolución de conflictos fuera del salón de clases a la comunidad. Estos talleres invitan a los padres a explorar su relación con el conflicto y aprender nuevas habilidades que enriquecerán y profundizarán las relaciones dentro de su familia. Estos son talleres interactivos que brindan a los participantes la oportunidad de practicar las habilidades que han aprendido.

    Los talleres para padres de NYCID se ofrecerán virtualmente en la plataforma Zoom de 6 p. m. a 7:30 p. m. SOLO EN INGLÉS (el taller en Español se ofrecerá a fines de Mayo o principios de Junio). Cada grupo se dividira en dos días, ya sea lunes y miércoles o martes y jueves. Se entregará un certificado de participación a cada participante que complete ambas sesiones.

  • Immigrant Ambassador Program - Family Workshops

    Families and caregivers play a significant role in supporting the postsecondary preparation and access of their students. However, we know the entry point and resources are not always clear, easily accessible or center the experience and needs of immigrant, undocumented, and mixed-status families.

    Through citywide immigrant family engagement, we aim to ensure families have ongoing workshops and resources to help them safely navigate high school and understand the amazing possibilities for their students after high school.

    The family sessions will be facilitated by DML’s and CUNY’s Immigrant Community Ambassadors – a group of DOE alumni enrolled in CUNY colleges who are committed to prioritizing postsecondary planning and access for immigrant community members.

  • First Tech Fund high school scholarship program

    First Tech Fund is recruiting students for their 3rd cohort of students for their high school fellowship program. Every student accepted will receive a free laptop to keep, a free Wi-Fi hotspot, can opt into mentorship with a young professional, and get access to weekly programming around careers and key skills for the future.

    Interested students can learn more about the program and apply here or download the application and mail it in. The application is due June 1st at 7pm, with no late applications accepted.

PupilPath App for Parents and Students

What is PupilPath?

PupilPath is a student information system for parents and students. PupilPath allows parents and students to view important student and school information such as student attendance records, schedules, assignment due dates and grades, graduation eligibility, and more. This is a convenient tool for both parents and students to keep up with class work and track student performance. PupilPath is available in Google Play and the App Store.

Registration

To register for PupilPath access, you will need your student’s ID number and date of birth.

  1. On your phone or tablet, download the PupilPath app from Google Play or the App Store.
  2. Open the app, choose "Parent" and then “Register.”
  3. Select our school, enter your child's student ID number and date of birth.
  4. Select your prefix, then enter your first name, last name, and email address. IMPORTANT - Parents and students cannot use the same email address when registering.
  5. Check your email for the PupilPath activation email from donotreply@casenex.com. Click the link in the email, which will return you to the registration screen and automatically enter the activation code.
  6. Enter and confirm a new password and your account will be activated.

Did you know that you can track your child’s education on any computer, phone, or tablet? You can do that and more by opening your NYC Schools Account (NYCSA)

  1. Go to https://www.schoolsaccount.nyc/
  2. Go to Create New Account.
  3. Enter your name, phone, email address, and create a password.
  4. Then, verify your identity and your relationship to that student by contacting the parent coordinator. Once you verify your identity, you will be able to see additional information, such as your child’s grades, test scores, and attendance.
